At Moinsa, we believe that sustainability is built on small gestures that, added together, generate a great impact. That’s why, from the Sustainability department, we launched a unique initiative, with purpose and closely aligned with our values: a bonsai team-building activity at the AMÁS Foundation.
This activity originated as a reward for the savings generated in the office by reducing the use of disposable cups, a simple action that demonstrates how responsible habits can also be transformed into shared experiences with a positive impact. Through an internal competition, the people who had the opportunity to participate in this special day were selected.
During the event, in addition to learning how to care for and cultivate a bonsai tree, a symbol of patience, balance, and respect for nature, our colleagues were able to learn firsthand about the work carried out by the AMÁS Foundation, an organization committed to social inclusion and supporting people with disabilities.
This team-building activity was much more than just a team-building exercise: it was a way to connect sustainability, social commitment, and employee experience, reinforcing our understanding of the company and the impact we want to generate in our environment.
At Moinsa, we will continue to promote initiatives that foster respect for the environment, encourage responsible habits, and allow us to collaborate with foundations that do such valuable work as AMÁS.
Because caring for the planet and people is also part of how we work.
